Established in 1982, Shufelberger Construction, Inc. is a family owned construction company, which has been serving Northern California and the surrounding area for over 35 years. Originally specializing in custom home building, Shufelberger Construction, Inc. has expanded its realm of construction to include buildings to suit any need in the residential, medical, schools, agricultural and commercial field.

Experience

Shufelberger Construction, Inc. has been involved in a wide array of construction projects during its twenty nine business years. We have completed jobs that have extreme time constraints as well as budget limitations, and aggressive value engineering. We are a versatile company, which works well under pressure, solving all problems encountered. We take many projects from conception all the way through move-in. We have been involved with design on many of the projects we do, as well as value engineering before and during the construction process. On several occasions we have executed the site developments, and organized all phases of the project’s completion. We would be receptive to offering any and all services you may need.

The services that we offer on most projects are broad. We schedule all of our projects in-house with the latest scheduling software. The estimator/project manager inputs all phases and details into the scheduling software, so the relationship is seamless from start to finish. We believe in a very close, hands-on approach to all of our projects.

Choosing the General Contractor very early on in the project, is very advantageous to all involved, so we can assist with the planning phase. Because we build these projects every day, we often have many useful ideas and input for the design team. We prefer to be involved with the project as early as possible, because it not only gives us a chance to learn the project thoroughly, but we can also offer the services mentioned above.

The Staff

The staff at Shufelberger Construction, Inc. is courteous and professional, having had many years’ experience in the construction industry. The President, Mike Shufelberger, has been in construction for 38 years. We build each project as if it was our own; our crew provides the right blend of youth and experience to complete all projects in a timely manner with the highest marks for quality, workmanship, and safety. We like to keep our crew small and efficient because we have found that this is the most cost effective for our company and our clients. Our crew is trained and drug-tested on a regular basis. We demand our crew to be professional, clean, and courteous at all times. Safety is a very important part of the training process, and is ingrained into our employees.
